Melk Abbey

Melk Abbey
Melk Abbey was built as a palace between 1702 - 1736 in the Baroque style.  It's known for its frescoes by Johann Michael Rottmayr.


It's also known as the place Napoleon selected as his headquarters during the campaign against Austria.
